This year, our Spring campout was held at the William S. Hart park in Newhall. This overnighter consisted of two fun filled nights. The first night, we played with Rocket Copters in the dark. The entire group had a blast shooting them up in the air and watching them light up as they gently floated back down. Next, we enjoyed a simple campfire with s’mores and fun. The following day was jam packed with nature hikes, making glow in the dark lanterns, and even a sack race! We had the chance to see the local farm animals and tour the old home of William S. Hart. This night we held a campout program which consisted of advancements and recognition, funny skits, jokes, and campfire songs. The next day we enjoyed a nice hike and came back to an Easter egg scavenger hunt! Another successful pack campout for the books!
