For Memorial Day, Pack 490 got together with several other local scout packs and troops to honor the fallen who served our country. The grave of each veteran was honored by placing an American flag at the headstone. This is a beautiful sight to see!

Rise Against Hunger is an amazing organization that packages meals and sends them to needy countries. Pack 490 partook in helping this amazing organization pack over 22,000 meals for children and families around the world! This was an excellent way to show our scouts how to help those in need.

Our Tiger den needed to get outdoors and burn some energy! Local South Hills park is full of trails and it is right in our backyard! Our Tigers had a blast bonding together in nature.
One of the wolf adventures is all about dinosaurs and digging up the past. To get more of a hands on learning experience, the wolf den took a trip to the Webb Schools Museum of Paleantology. What 2nd grader doesn’t love checking out fossils and dinosaurs??
What better way to learn what goes on in the world of a first responder than to take a tour of the station? Our Den 5& 7 got to check out what happens daily inside a sherriff’s department and enjoyed every minute of it!
