Pack 490 Activities
In scouting, we like to get the children out to enjoy some much needed fresh air and outdoor fun. Our wolf den did just that when they embarked on a beautiful hike through a redwood grove in Carbon Canyon. This was yet another successful hike for our scouts!

For Glendora Day at the Fair, Pack 490 joins members of our community to be a part of the Glendora Parade. We got a vintage fire truck for the scouts to ride and wave to spectators. The scouts thoroughly enjoyed tossing beads to the crowds and being a part of this fun community event.
Our annual popcorn fundraiser is the only fundraiser we do, so we rely on it to succeed in order to have a great program. Our kickoff party is a fun way to get the scouts excited about selling popcorn for our pack. Popcorn tasting, popcorn games, and popcorn sales skits make for a fun party. […]

This summer, we visited the Upper Newport Bay Nature Preserve. What a fun outing! The scouts got the opportunity to check out a nature center where they learned about various local animals. We also enjoyed the cooler beach weather on a nature hike with a beautiful ocean view.
PLAY BALL! Summer is here, and what better way to enjoy summer nights than a good, old fashioned baseball game? Quakes stadium in Rancho Cucamonga hosts a “Scout Night” for all the local scouts. It is a great opportunity to get out, watch the game, and enjoy a few hot dogs with our scouts!
