Fall is one of the greatest times to camp with family and friends. The air isn’t too hot or too cold, but just right! For our 2017 Fall campout, we set up camp at El Dorado Regional Park in Long Beach. After setting up our tents, the children got to make their own family tent signs, play ball, and goof around. We also got the parents involved and had a three legged race. Oh, what a sight! After a nighttime stroll around the park, we enjoyed a fantastic campfire program where we sang songs, told silly stories, performed skits, and shared jokes. The following morning after breakfast, we set out on a scavenger hunt! Later, the boys got to try their hand at fishing. Although none of us caught anything, they still had a great time. The wriggling bait was probably the main attraction! This campout was yet another successful pack overnighter for the books.
